Zafran is looking for an experienced and innovative Solution Architect to join our team. Working closely with customers, field engineers, and product teams, you will contribute to the thought and design process, guiding critical paths such as customer onboarding, integration, and data flow. This role demands creativity, research, problem-solving skills, and deep technical knowledge to address complex challenges.
Zafran is the First Risk and Mitigation Platform to fight threat exploitation. Zafran transforms risk mitigation by connecting to both vulnerability data and the organization’s security controls. The platform analyzes risk while considering controls’ efficacy as well as exploitability factors, then proactively automates mitigations to eliminate the exploitation window. Backed by Sequoia and Cyberstarts, we empower security teams to mobilize existing security controls and defuse threat exploitation beyond patching
- Collaborate with customers, field engineers, and product teams to guide the thought and design process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in backend development to inform architectural decisions.
- Develop reliable production-grade code capable of running at scale alongside customer applications.
- Collaborate with the product team to design seamless integration and onboarding processes for customers.
- Develop key components in the company’s architecture, supporting complex use cases for the present and future.
- Lead major architectural changes, taking initiative and influencing the product’s technical and business growth.
- Work with teammates to guide R&D through the evolution of the platform, advising and influencing at every scope.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the architecture, from design and testing to rollout and scale-up.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with languages such as Golang, Python, Java, or C/C++.
- Rapid learning ability and adaptability to new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sense of ownership, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, or Azure (advantageous).
- Strong experience with operating systems internals (advantageous).
- 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 positions.
- Team player mentality with the capability to see the big picture and focus on critical details.
- Capability and willingness to take responsibility and have a deep influence.
- Experience with backend and microservice patterns.
- Previous experience in leadership positions (Team Lead, Tech Lead, etc.).
- Experience in industry cyber-security
