Workflow Efficiency Prior to Zafran, ABC Fitness relied on a legacy scanner for vulnerability detection and used raw CVSS scores to prioritize issues. This approach led to overwhelming ticket volumes and little clarity on what truly needed to be fixed first. Their remediation process lacked scalability, as triage and fix cycles were slow, creating SLA risk and mounting internal frustration. Their ticketing workflow was also highly manual—requiring exports from their scanner and manual creation of Jira tickets, which consumed valuable team time.Security leadership wanted a solution that could help them cut through the noise, focus on actionable vulnerabilities, and automate the patching pipeline.
The Solution
ABC Fitness bought Zafran initially to improve vulnerability prioritization. Zafran’s ability to integrate with multiple security and ticketing tools allowed ABC to immediately start prioritizing vulnerabilities based on exploitability, asset value, and exposure context—rather than raw CVSS scores.
This led to a dramatic reduction in the number of remediation tickets. Zafran helped consolidate 114,000 vulnerabilities into just 9,800 remediation actions, highlighting duplicate or overlapping issues and optimizing patching strategy.
With the rollout of Zafran’s Remediation Operations (RemOps), ABC Fitness began automating the creation of Jira tickets, eliminating hours of manual work each week and accelerating MTTR.

The team implementing Zafran described the onboarding as seamless.
