ZafCon 2026 – Chicago
ZafCon will host security leaders and practitioners who are passionate about pushing beyond traditional approaches and driving real impact in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
This isn’t a conference. It’s not a typical workshop. It’s a curated room of people with perspective, influence, and a point of view.
Join us to:

Palmer House a Hilton Hotel
17 East Monroe StreetChicago,
Illinois 60603 USA
The Palmer House has been standing in the heart of Chicago's Loop since 1871 — survived the Great Chicago Fire, hosted Mark Twain, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong, and oh, invented the brownie. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like you're somewhere, not just checked in somewhere.
We're bringing together the people redefining modern security inside one of America's most storied buildings. The contrast is kind of the point.
Discounted room block rate: $189/night + taxes and fees.

Aboard Chicago's First Lady
Wednesday, August 26 | 6:30 – 9:30 PM
112 E. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601
A 10-minute walk from the Palmer House.
Plan to arrive by 6:15 PM to board on time.
Wrap-up ZafCon with a private cruise on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. We've chartered a vessel with Chicago's First Lady fleet, the official cruise line of the Chicago Architecture Center and the #1 boat tour in North America. As the sun sets over the city, you'll get a front-row seat to Chicago's skyline transforming into a glittering jewel while connecting with fellow Zafcon attendees over drinks and conversation.
The boats feature open-air upper decks, climate-controlled lower cabins, and a full-service bar, so you can take in the evening your way.
The night caps off with a front-row view of the 9:00 PM Navy Pier fireworks over Lake Michigan. We'll return to the dock following the show.
Getting There
Chicago is served by two major airports. Both connect directly to the Loop.
The Palmer House is one of the best-connected spots in the city. You won't need a car.
Our honest advice: don’t drive. The hotel is in the heart of the Loop and parking in downtown Chicago is expensive. But if you’re road-tripping or driving from the suburbs, here’s what to know:
Chicago in late August is genuinely great. Plan for warm, sunny days and comfortable evenings.
All ZafCon sessions and events are in Central Time (CT).
