Zafran launches Attack Chain Killswitch in collaboration with Google Threat Intelligence

Unify Vulnerability Findings

Get one picture of your exposure

Zafran unifies cloud, on-prem, and AppSec findings into one record, collapses the duplicates, and maps each asset to the controls protecting it, so you get one current picture of what is actually exposed.

Wiz (CNAPP), Tenable (vulnerability scanner) and Snyk (AppSec scanner) each report CVE-2021-44228. Zafran correlates them into one record on the CVE ID, hostname, package and container image. Three findings, one record, deduplicated.

How Zafran unifies vulnerability findings

Bring your network, infrastructure, and application-layer findings into one view.

Findings from a CNAPP (Wiz, cloud workloads), vulnerability scanners (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, network and infrastructure) and AppSec scanners (Snyk, GitHub, application layer) all feed into Zafran, which shows them as one view: 318,406 unified findings, about 121 thousand from cloud, 131 thousand from network and infrastructure, and 66 thousand from the application layer.

Collapse overlapping CVE findings and assets from every source into one record.

Zafran's asset graph: Qualys reports relatable-sloth, AWS reports salesforce-windows, and CrowdStrike reports RELATABLE-SLOTH. Zafran links all three into one asset. Its merged record shows asset ID and AWS EC2 instance ID i-04c6c9d71700fe0a3, hostname salesforce-windows, IP addresses 10.0.1.24 and 192.168.1.10, and a Windows operating system.

Plug into the security stack you already run, no new agent to deploy.

Zafran's integrations page: Tenable.io, Wiz, CrowdStrike, Snyk, ServiceNow, Palo Alto and Qualys VMDR connect over their APIs and sync their records, with no agent deployed.

Automatically tie your existing control policies to the assets they protect.

Zafran maps the controls protecting payments-api, an internet-facing production asset with CVE-2021-44228 open, and reads each one's live configuration: CrowdStrike Falcon's prevention policy and Akamai's WAF rule in deny mode block the exploit, Palo Alto's IPS signature only alerts, and Illumio's policy allows port 443 from any source. Two of four controls block it, so applicable risk drops from 10.0 to 6.1.
